Great banjo at the price. Did a reasonable amount of minor setup with the internal coordinator rods, neck truss rod, fitted 5th string capo spikes, lighter gauge strings and tensioned the head ('skin') to a high level. It was playable out of the box but banjos always need some setup. As a Bluegrass player of 50 years, I'm fussy. These adjustments are typical at any price to get the most out of the instrument. It is now bright, lots of sustain and loud . Nice to play too with low action and good intonation. Only minor complaint is the fancy vine inlay on the finger board. Looks good but I can get a bit lost up the neck. Dots on the side help. I just need to get used to it. Thanks again for the service Rob.
