That means that when you make a purchase through our website you can rest assured that if for some reason the product is not as you expected, you can return it for a store credit to the same value of the purchase price of the item. It’s just one extra way that we like to create peace-of-mind for our customers because we know what it’s like to buy an instrument you haven’t even got the chance to play yet!

Our aim at Haworth Guitars is to make sure that shopping for a guitar or bass online is as exciting as it is in person. That is why our team take this process to the next level by carefully inspecting and physically playing every stringed instrument we sell priced above $499aud. We have a team of trained staff which play hundreds of guitars per week and know exactly how your guitar in meant to play! We want to make sure that each instrument that leaves us, arrives at your door just as you had imagined, leaving you 100% satisfied with your new instrument. If your new instrument passes the inspection, your guitar will be shipped out shortly after. If your guitar fails the inspection, or one of our team members believe that it would be beneficial for your instrument to go through a full setup process, we will be in touch!

Is the 35-point Inspection the same as a "setup"?

Our 35-point Inspection is different than a setup, our inspection ensures that the instrument meets manufacturer and usability standards, whereas a setup tailors the guitar to a player's preferences. A setup typically involves our in-house guitar technicians fitting your preference of strings, adjusting to a requested action height, and even installing new pickups or components. If you would like your instrument set-up before it ships, simply leave a comment in your purchase notes and one of friendly sales staff will be in contact with you shortly after.

When you purchase your new guitar or bass purchase from Haworth’s you receive 12 months free servicing which entitles you to two free services within the first 12 months (worth $158) where our highly-skilled repair team conduct a full setup and service on your instrument to make sure it’s still playing as good as can be. We check the action, intonation, truss-rod/neck, electronics, playability, tone and more and can restring it for you if needed. Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to get the guitar to us for it’s servicing, not Haworth’s, plus any new strings or parts requested by the customer during the service are not part of the free service, Nor can the free service be used at the time of purchase.
