Akai Fire NS features a dedicated browser function for navigating, auditioning, and loading your audio samples. As well as recalling project files and opening plugins. Simply select Browser and use the Select rotary encoder to preview and load your content and devices within FL Studio. Sporting a graphical OLED display, Fire NS makes it easier than ever to control all the various files, menus, and parameters within your session.

Additionally, the Fire NS supports plug-and-play integration. So it will only be seconds before you’re creating patterns and building tracks thanks to its 4 x 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pad matrix. Designed to integrate seamlessly with FL Studios celebrated step sequencer

Allowing you to easily mute and solo channels, expand the grid matrix, select new channels, navigate through patterns, and so much more. All without touching your mouse!

Note Mode

Whether you’re playing searing synth leads or lush pads, the FIRE NS’s Note mode gives you the ultimate platform for adding melody and harmony to your production. Simply push the Note button and the FIRE NS will switch up to a MIDI keyboard, giving you three octaves of data. So it makes light work of playing your FL Studio hosted instruments.

Drum Mode

Featuring an MPC-Style 16-Pad layout, the FIRE NS offers seamless integration with FPC and SliceX. So it’s a great option for producers wanting that traditional beat-making experience, or to show off their impressive finger-drumming chops on the track!

Performance Mode

No matter whether you’re a studio producer, or taking your sessions to the stage; Performance mode gives you the ideal platform for remixing and reimagining your tracks. Simply select Performance mode and launch MIDI clips and audio directly from the RGB pad matrix. Offering a truly inspiring live production experience.

Boasting a tactile, mouse-free mixing solution; the FIRE NS gives you 4 banks of 4 touch-capacitive knobs. Allowing you to instantly see and adjust parameter values. As well as giving you complete control over the channel, mixer, and user-assignable parameters. Enabing a more intuitive and enjoyable workflow, from tweaking volume and pan within FL Studio’s mixer; to adjusting filter controls within the selected channel.

Multi-device Mode

Speed is power. Up to four Fire devices can be connected at once, enabling unprecedented hardware control over the FL Studio mixing and production workflow. Expand channels or make more in the sequencer accessible by selecting Multi-Device Mode from the OLED display. Instantly expand the 4 x16 matrix of one Fire unit to an 8 x 32 workflow.
