The Banjo Ukulele from Kala has a distinctive tone and huge projection for sound able to suit solo or ensemble settings.

It was popularised by musicians such as George Formby and Roy Smeck, originally designed in 1917 by Alvin Keech. The lengendary George Harrison favoured the instrument in later years and recorded his song “Any Road” on a banjo uke.

This banjo uke has a Remo Weatherking head, 6'' hoop diameter, open back design and a maple bridge with ebony cap.
