Maton JB4

Maton are an iconic Australian company that have been in business as long as Fender. The Maton JB4 is considered to be an Aussie classic and it's been re-issued so today's players can experience the heritage of this fine instrument. Maton have remained true to the original in almost every respect. The Dimarzio P/J configuration offers a host of tonal choices. You can get that Jaco-like definition on the bridge but still pull a fat sound from the P-style pickup. The body is made of silver silkwood and it also features a rock maple set neck with Schaller chrome tuners and stainless steel frets.

Haworth's and Maton Guitars

At Haworth Guitars, we are very proud of the fact that we are the biggest seller of Maton Guitars in Australia for 2010/2011 financial year. Maton Guitars are one of our favourite brands here at Haworth's. Most of our staff members actually own and play their own Maton Guitars. Some even have more than just one! So we encourage you to call and talk to us at Haworth's if you're not sure which Maton Guitar would suit you best.

Maton was originally founded many years ago by Bill May, an Australian high school teacher by trade who loved making furniture. Now Bill has passed on and leaves the running of the business to his daughter Linda and son-in-law Neville Kitchen. Maton is still a family run business, now not only with a great name and reputation in Australia, but also internationally, with artists such as Tommy Emmanuel, Michael Fix and Diesel touring overseas promoting Maton and their own signature series maton guitars. Glenn Haworth actually spent a week at the Maton factory a few years back learning how Maton make their instruments. Glenn worked closely with the head of the Maton Custom Shop Andy Allen to get a true hands-on feel.

At Haworth Guitars, we stock a wide range of Maton Guitars so if you're looking for a Maton M225, Maton EM225C, Maton EM325C, or if you prefer the Maton ECW80C, Maton Australian Series EA80C, Maton Messiah EM100C or any of the Maton Custom Shop models, we stock them all.

If you like the dreadnaught models or if you prefer the Maton 808 Series, such as the Maton EBG808, Maton EBG808L, Maton EBG808CL Performer, Maton EBG808TE, Maton EBG808 Artist or Maton EBG808C Michael Fix, then we stock them too! Or if you prefer the Mini Maton Models such as the Maton EML/6, Maton EML/12, Maton EMS/6, Maton EMS/12, Maton EMD/6 Diesel or Maton EMD/12 Diesel, we stock them too!

If however you prefer Maton Electric Guitars, we also stock the Maton Mastersound MS500, Maton MS503, Maton MS2000, Maton MS2000 Deluxe, Maton BB1200 and Maton BB1200 Deluxe, plus more. So if you need a cheap maton guitar or one of the best maton guitars, you know who to call.

Haworth Guitars are not only Australia's Authorised Maton Dealer, but we are also Authorised Maton Repairers. Which means that we take every care possible in making sure that our guitars are setup with a nice low action correct intonation and straight neck angle. How you would like your guitar setup is up to you! You can choose a low, medium or high action at the checkout. You can also choose your tuning, and our team at Haworth's Shellharbour Music Centre will setup your guitar to your preferred specifications. What better place is there to buy maton guitars online other than Haworth's Online Music Warehouse.

We also make sure that we have the cheapest maton guitars around, and if you happen to notice a better price somewhere else, remember we beat prices. So call us first 1300 560 088.
