I echo most of the comments below, I too am now a happy owner of the EBG808TE! This guitar is a master piece, perfect for finger style, on stage performance and studio recordings. The sound clarity is incredible and the bass response is stunning. The APMic speaks for it self, absolutely fantastic. Shipping to Zürich/Switzerland was fast and reliable. After two rejected shipping attempts (customs doesn't like having the batteries still inte the guitar...), the shipment only took 5 days without the battery, and the guitar arrived safe and "sound". Thanks to Daniel for coordinating this purchase and shipping. Excellent customer service, and I will without a doubt turn to you guys for my next guitar purchase. Best regards, Robin

Just received my Maton EBG808TE! It took less than 2 weeks to reach Singapore and i received this beauty in 1 piece! Thank God! Thanks Phil for that superb guitar action done for this guitar! Another Tommy's fan is here~ living in California, never had played Maton Guitar in US. but the reputation among many fine guitarist around me and also Tommy, of course, made me order one. it arrived yesterday and now I cant blame on the instrument when I play songs.. astonishing sound, great quality, sexy body shape and gives unbelievable perfomance in many ways. I am not good enough to handle the true potential of it though..:) From purchasing online at Haworth site to getting it took less than 20 days and I guarantee its worth waiting for!! I love the little mic resting under my right hand when I play.

Livin' in Sweden and discovered Tommy Emmanuel and he has a wonderful guitar sound. Figurered out that it was a Maton guitar. I have never played on a Maton guitar before cause they don't sell them in Sweden, so I took a chance and ordered one. I am very satisfied, especially with when you plug it in an acoustic amp. It may not be the best sound for an acoustic guitar but it has a lot of qualities that I like, and it's the right choice for me for the moment when trying to learn alot of fingergpickning. Many thanks to Deanna who was the contact at Haworth and helped me through the buying of this guitar. It was a bit scary to import a guitar from another country but it worked more than well.

I order 2 EBG808TEs and an CW80 from Phil in May-05. I had recently seen Tommy Emmanuel live and attended a two day workshop with him. After seeing him play and observe the quality of his guitar and the clarity of its sound I had to have one. The other 2 guitars went to two friends who also attended the workshop. We all agree, if you can't afford one of the guitars, save your money until you can. I can gurantee that you have never experienced anything like it. The playability is extrodinary, the sound unbelievable, and the construction flawless and uncompromising. We've all agree that they are simple elagance. I have several other guitars (Martins, Taylors, Guilds, Takamines, Ovations, but none are in the same leage. We play out ocassionally and have had many people comment on the difference in the sound of the Maton as opposed to any other acoustic guitar they've heard. Simple stated, they are amazing. We I play songs that I've played for years I hear things coming out of the Maton that I've never heard my hands play. The Maton simply makes you a better player. I feel like I have found the holy grail! Seriously, If you are considering buying and acoustic guitar anytime in the near future, you'll be sick if you don't look at a Maton before spending your money. Since there are very few dealers in the US to visit, I would highly recommend Phil and Haworth Guitars. I was concerned about buying a guitar from Australia when I live in Kentucky, but after talking with Phil several times and doing my homework, I ordered and have no regrets. Now everytime I call, Phil or Deanna, they ask if its Tom. (Somehow I guess I don't sound like I could be from anywhere that BlueGrass isn't spoken). I would recommend Maton & Haworth as an outstanding combination and every bit as good as their reputation. Best wishes to all and have fun picken>>> Tom
