This amp is incredibly touch sensitive on the clean channel. while rehearsing in a 4 piece with drums, I set the clean channel to 3 out of 12 and it was almost too loud. I can get crystal clear, warm and velvety smooth clean tones by playing delecately and as I play more aggressively, the tone breaks up at this volume beautifully for lead. The drive channel is less touch sensitive so make sure you have enough level on the master. Great bluesy overdrive with ability to get very rock. No good for metal. Im not a fan of the extra drive channel. It seems excessively noisy and for my music taste, I cant get any great tones with it. If you want more drive, better off getting a pedal and using it through the effects loop. But the Jensen speaker is what this amp is all about and it is nothing short of superb. Reissue or not. Haworth forget to mention that this is a LTD edition too. There is a special chrome panel on the back that says authentic fenter limited edition and a manufacture #. Spend the extra and get this amp over the standard. Plus it looks great with the tweed.
